Check-in takes place at counters in the departure hall marked with flight number, destination and time; travel document is required before check-in; for online check-in you can proceed directly to security check.

Generally, check-in starts 2-3 hours before departure and ends 30-40 minutes before scheduled departure (depending on the airline).

Some airlines have the option of electronic check-in from the comfort of your own home. This check-in is available from a few days before departure to a few hours before the scheduled departure time, depending on the rules of the particular airline. For more information, see "Check-in options".

If you have checked in online and have no checked baggage, proceed straight to security and then to the departure gate. For more information, see "Check-in options".

Security check includes:

• unloading liquids, gels and aerosols in individual containers into 100 ml,

• all must be placed in one transparent, resealable bag with a maximum volume of 1 litre,

• removal of laptop and other larger electronic devices from hand luggage,

• removal of metallic items, uppers and items from pockets,

• possible additional checks as directed by security personnel.

Food may be carried in hand luggage, provided it is not liquid or paste-like above the permitted limit.

Explosives, flammables, pressure vessels, certain chemicals and dangerous items are prohibited.

You must not carry explosives, gases (propane, butane), flammable liquids, toxic substances, certain pressure vessels in your hand luggage. For a complete list, see General Safety Rules and Policies.

Each container of liquid or gel can hold a maximum of 100 ml. All containers must be placed in a single transparent, resealable bag of no more than 1 liter.

You can find more accurate information on luggage dimensions and weight on your airline's website. This is because the rules vary from carrier to carrier.

Oversized or non-standard luggage such as bicycles, skis, surfboards, musical instruments, etc. must be reported to the check-in counter. Such baggage is checked in at the Oversized Baggage Desk to the right of the check-in counters. Please consult your airline in advance to check in any unusual baggage. So too is the carriage of animals.

Od 26.6.2012 platí pro občany České republiky, že dítě nemůže cestovat mimo území České republiky pouze na základě zápisu osoby dítěte v občanském průkazu rodiče či v cestovním pase rodiče!

!! Cestování občanů ČR do zahraničí (včetně cestování dětí) je možné za následujících podmínek:

Občan/dítě má vlastní cestovní doklad, a to:

• vlastní občanský průkaz, který může být na základě žádosti vydán i občanovi mladšímu 15-ti let - pouze pro cesty v rámci EU,
• nebo vlastní cestovní pas,
• nebo jiný druh cestovního dokladu v souladu se zákonem č. 329/1999 Sb., o cestovních dokladech, ve znění pozdějších předpisů.

The traveller is obliged to ask for assistance at least 48 hours before the scheduled departure of his/her air carrier or travel agency from which the ticket was purchased.

General procedures:

• No later than 48 hours before your scheduled departure, report your request for assistance to your airline or travel agent/agency.
• Request assistance on arrival at the airport by calling +420 545 521 600 or in person at the office of the Head of Passenger Check-in (to the right of the check-in desks in the departure check-in building)
• or send a request for assistance at least 12 hours before departure to the following e-mail address: handling@brno-airport.cz
• The assigned staff will provide assistance throughout the check-in period.

In the public part of the departure hall there are changing counters located in the disabled toilet. These toilets use a Euro key, which can be borrowed from the Check-in Supervisor (information is also displayed on the door).

In the non-public area, behind the security checkpoint, there is a separate room "Mothers with Children", equipped with a baby-changing counter.

There is also a kids' corner in the departure gates for children to spend time before boarding.

Parking space can be reserved in advance here. Parking capacity is sufficient.

In this case, we have a backup car park on the airport premises where our staff will direct you if necessary.

You can use any available parking space in the parking lot.

Yes, short-term parking for 15 min. is available directly in front of the arrival and departure halls. Other spaces are reserved for long-term parking. The car park price list takes longer parking periods into account.

The car park is not guarded, but it is fenced and the entrance and exit is secured by a barrier system. The car park is under constant surveillance and airport staff carry out regular and random checks.

Parkovné uhraďte až před opuštěním parkoviště. Po zaplacení parkovného či uplatnění parkovacího voucheru budete mít 20 minut na opuštění parkoviště.

Platebními kartami můžete platit ve všech platebních automatech a na přepážce Zákaznického centra v odletovém terminálu.

It is recommended to store the parking ticket in such a way as to prevent mechanical damage or deterioration due to sunlight. For this reason, do not leave the parking ticket outside the vehicle window.
